Perhaps you were thinking these photographs were taken in the Czech Republic. Sorry, I have to disappoint you. These pictures were taken on an old industrial zone in our city, Alphen aan den Rijn. I thought this setting would give the correct feeling to the car.

But to be honest, what a great car! The production of the 100/110 started on 25th August 1969. The restyled body based on a 1000MB/1100-body shell, and the old familiar 998cc (“100”) and 1107cc (“110”) engines were used. The main technical improvements were front-wheel disc brakes and a twin circuit hydraulic brake system. In the days of the S100, Skoda was its own boss, and as such continued with the rear-engined principle for many years, the solid and reliable cars regularly winning their class in world rallying events. When production stopped in 1977 a total number 323.848 cars were produced. Most of them remained in Czech Republic, but you don’t see them that often in Prague anymore.

This one was originally sold to someone in Oland (an island in the eastern part of Sweden). The first owner told us the car never went from the island. He was a real Skoda enthusiast as he had a medal of 80 year celebration of Skoda (1894-1974) which we received with the car. The car remains in original paint and is beautiful running, shifting and braking. Only 44.000 kilometers since new! This is a once in your lifetime opportunity.
